Hello Gray, how are you?
Gray:
Very well thanks, what about you?
Shirley:
Oh, I’m fine thanks.
Gray:
How’s John?
Shirley:
He’s fine. He’s outside at the moment. He’s painting the wall.
Gray:
Oh, how nice. Is Fred helping him?
Shirley:
Fred? No, he’s too lazy. He’s in the living room, he’s reading the newspaper
Gray:
How’s my little Godson Mike?
Shirley:
He’s fine. He’s sitting on the sofa. Mary’s reading a story to him
Gray:
That’s nice. I must send him a new book for his birthday. It’s next week, isn’t it.?
Shirley:
Yes, it’s next Friday.
Gray:
How’s Jemima?
Shirley:
She’s fine thanks, Gray, she’s got a boyfriend now. They’re playing with the computer at the moment.
Gray:
She’s a bit young to have a boyfriend, isn’t she?
Shirley:
Well, she’s 14 now. He’s a very nice boy. He’s very interested in computers
Gray:
How’s little Frankie?
Shirley:
He’s playing with his little dog at the moment. He really loves that dog. They go everywhere together.
Gray:
That’s nice. Well, I must go now. I’m playing Bingo this evening, so goodbye Shirley.
Shirley:
Goodbye Gray, thanks for ringing.
